About This Location

Located in Orting, Washington, Washington State Soldiers Home – Orting is one of many veteran-dedicated properties participating in the Saluting Branches National Day of Service. This location joined the program in 2024 and continues to bring together volunteers, industry professionals, and community members in support of the mission.

Volunteers work alongside industry professionals, community members, and supporters to help preserve and improve this important nursing home through tree and landscape care projects.

What Volunteers Can Expect
